The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded bilingual digital marketer to lead and support our entrepreneurship and eCommerce programs with a particular focus on the Digital Accelerator program for the Quebec region. The digital accelerator program empowers and connects promising SMBs, high potential startups ,eCommerce companies and B2B Tech companies of our entrepreneurial and eCom ecosystem with the tools, resources, mentors and networks they need to enhance their success.

This role is hands-on and about digging deep into the world of Canadian  B2B Tech and eCommerce entrepreneurs and private business owners. The role focuses on delivering programs, messages, experiences and omnichannel initiatives to meet their needs, cultivate relationships and drive leads.

This role involves interaction with clients, partners and stakeholders operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.

Your day-to-day will focus on program management, community management, communications, omnichannel content development, integrated marketing strategy and omnichannel execution, including field events and program customer success. 

We’re looking for a content marketing specialist who understands the possibilities these programs represent and can take these companies to the next level : In a nutshell, we  – someone with fresh thinking who will help cultivate an ecosystem where program participants, clients and prospects understand the value MTL+ECOMMERCE can bring through every interaction and initiative. 

Your Key Responsibilities:

This role will involve, among other things:

  • Strategically plan and execute marketing and engagement programs for key entrepreneurial and eCommerce audiences across the Quebec and Canadian market
  • Meaningful Content Creation: Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy, create engaging content, and stay updated on industry trends to ensure impactful communication across diverse channels.
  • Events & Community Management: Plan, execute, and oversee marketing events, both virtual and in-person, to enhance brand visibility and engage the community. Manage community initiatives, cultivating relationships with users and community members to foster a vibrant and supportive community around MTL+ECOMMERCE
  • Program Management: Lead, coordinate and be accountable for all aspects of the Digital accelerator communications and activities for the Quebec region, including the program launch, interview process, relationship management (judges, enterprise stakeholders, consultants, sponsors, etc.), awareness and promotion, engagement, budgeting, invoicing, reporting and tracking.

  • Superior ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing execution and with managing end-to-end programs; B2Band eCommerce experience strongly preferred
  • University degree in marketing or related field
  • Excellent project management, relationship-building, organizational, problem-solving skills
  • End-to-end event planning experience, including in-person and virtual events
  • A solid understanding of different aspects of marketing (e.g. PR, communications, brand, digital, social media)
  • Powerful business acumen, with ability to put data in the context of a customer problem and know where to look when exposed to large amounts of data.
